About this tour
This isn’t your typical London bike tour. Instead of weaving through busy streets and rushing between tourist hotspots, this is your chance to slow down, unwind and discover a completely different side of the capital. With a maximum of six guests – and most tours welcoming just two to four – it’s a personal experience, with plenty of time to ask questions, stop for photos and simply enjoy the journey.
Led by a born-and-bred Londoner and British Cycling-qualified guide, you’ll hear local stories, hidden history and insights that many visitors – and even lifelong Londoners – never come across.
On a mix of riverside paths, cycle lanes and trails, commons, woodland and some roads, you’ll ride through Battersea Park to historic Putney, home of the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race. Then the city falls away and you arrive at Richmond Park – London’s largest Royal Park, home to hundreds of free-roaming deer, with views from King Henry’s Mound all the way to St Paul’s Cathedral.
This isn’t about racing from one landmark to the next. It’s about experiencing London differently – fresh air, spectacular scenery and the greener, quieter, wilder side of the capital that most visitors never realise exists.
